EN 20: I Shared Something Personal. Then What?
Recently, I spoke publicly about being raped in my twenties. Then came the questions: Was that too personal? Should I take the video down? How would the people close to me feel? In this episode, I share what happened after pressing “post”—the uncertainty, the supportive messages, and what it has meant to let people know this part of my story. I also reflect on boundaries. Sharing something personal doesn’t mean answering every question or making your whole life public. And choosing to keep your own story private is just as valid. Content note: This episode discusses sexual assault and the experience of speaking about it publicly, without describing the assault. Thank you for listening with care. ❤️ Love, Linn / Catcha Bloom
